These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Effistride s.r.o., Company Identification Number 19585713, registered at Malešická 2855/2b, 130 00 Prague, Czech Republic. (“Effistride,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and you (“Participant”) when you register for or attend any event, summit, or activity organized by Effistride s.r.o. Effistride reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and are effective upon publication.

1. DEFINITIONS

Event: Any summit, conference, or gathering hosted or operated by Effistride, including but not limited to Navigate Mobility.
Ticket: Proof of purchase or registration that grants access to the event.
Website: Effistride’s official website used for registration and communication.
Sponsor: An organization that pays a fee to Effistride s.r.o. in exchange for agreed promotional rights at an event, which may include but not limited to branding, speaking slots, exhibit space, or delegate access.
Partner: An organization that collaborates with Effistride s.r.o. for non-commercial or strategic purposes (e.g. media coverage, co-hosting, content contribution), and may or may not involve payment.
Participant: Any person who registers for or attends an event organized by Effistride.
Speaker: An individual invited or approved by Effistride s.r.o. to deliver a presentation, participate in a panel, or contribute content at an event. Speakers may represent themselves or an organization and may or may not receive compensation or other benefits.

2. Agreement to Terms

By registering for an Event, purchasing a ticket, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3. Ticket Purchase and Use

1. Tickets may be purchased by individuals or legal entities (e.g. companies).
2. By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have the authority to enter into this agreement.
   

For Individual (Consumer) Buyers

1. If you are a consumer based in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase, as long as the event has not yet taken place.
2. To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing at inquire@effistride.com before the 14-day period ends.
3. If you cancel within the 14-day window, we will issue a full refund within 14 days of your cancellation notice.
4. You lose the right of withdrawal if you attend the event or if the event concludes during the withdrawal period.

For Business Buyers

1. The 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to purchases made by businesses or on behalf of organizations.

General Terms

1. Unless covered by the withdrawal right above, tickets are non-refundable, except as stated in the Cancellations and Refunds section.
2. Ticket transfers are allowed only with prior written approval from Effistride.
3. Effistride may change the event schedule, speakers, venue, or format. No refunds will be provided for such changes.
4. Effistride is not responsible for any travel, visa, or accommodation costs related to changes or cancellations.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

If Effistride Cancels the Event

1. You will receive a full refund of the ticket price.
2. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the cancellation notice.
3. We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other costs incurred.

If the Event is Rescheduled

1. Your ticket will remain valid for the new date.
2. If you cannot attend the new date, you may request a refund within 14 days of the rescheduling notice.
3. After 14 days, no refunds will be issued unless agreed in writing.

If You Cancel

1. Individual (Consumer) buyers in the EU may cancel within 14 days of purchase, as long as the event has not started. See Section 3 for details.
2. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after the 14-day withdrawal period or by business buyers, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Refund requests must be sent to inquire@effistride.com.

Events Beyond Our Control

Effistride is not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to: Natural disasters, Strikes or government actions, Public health restrictions, Travel disruptions.

In such cases, we will offer rescheduling or digital alternatives where feasible but are not obliged to refund tickets.

5. Conduct at Events

Participants must:

1. Follow all instructions from Effistride staff and venue operators.
2. Behave professionally and respectfully toward other attendees, staff, and speakers.
3. Refrain from any disruptive, illegal, or harassing behavior.

Effistride reserves the right to remove any participant who violates these rules. No refund will be given.

6. Age Restriction

Participation in events is limited to individuals aged 18 and above unless otherwise stated.

7. Personal Data and Privacy

Effistride processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Czech law.

By registering or purchasing a ticket, you consent to:

1. Collection and use of your personal data (e.g. name, email, company) for event registration, communication, and attendance management.
   Receiving relevant event updates and logistical information via email or other channels.
2. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us at [insert contact email]. Requests will be processed within 30 days.

8. Data Sharing with Sponsors

Effistride may offer you the option to share your personal data with selected sponsors and partners.

1. This data may include your name, job title, company, and email address.
2. Data will only be shared if you explicitly opt in through our website or registration forms.
3. Sponsors may contact you for marketing or networking purposes.
4. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing inquire@effistride.com.

9. Marketing Communication and Legitimate Interest

Effistride may send promotional or informational content to individuals and businesses whose professional roles align with our events.

1. Such outreach is based on legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
2. We assess the relevance and impact of our communications through an internal legitimate interest assessment.
3. All communications include an unsubscribe option and a clear explanation of why we are contacting you.
4. You can object to receiving such messages at any time.

10. Intellectual Property

All content delivered at the Event (including presentations, recordings, logos, photos, and other media) remains the intellectual property of Effistride or the respective speakers and contributors.

Recording, duplication, or distribution of event materials is not allowed unless you receive written approval or permission from authorized event staff.

11. Liability and Disclaimer

Effistride is not liable for:

1. Any personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during the Event.
2. Any indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to business interruption or travel expenses.
3. Loss or theft of personal property.

Your participation is at your own risk.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

All disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved by the courts in Prague, Czech Republic.
